Rules & Eligibility

Before registering, please review the official eligibility requirements, performance rules, deadlines, and participant expectations for We’ve Got Talent 2026. All contestants, parents, and group leaders are responsible for understanding and agreeing to these rules before submitting registration, payment, audition materials, and signatures.

Eligibility

Who Can Participate

We’ve Got Talent is open to a wide range of performers. Whether you perform solo or as part of a group, you’re welcome to apply if your act is appropriate for a family-friendly audience. Singers, musicians, dancers, actors, comedians, poets, magicians, jugglers, puppeteers, impressionists, quick-change artists, and other performance-based acts are all encouraged to participate.

Age Eligibility

If you are a student or an adult performer, you may be eligible to participate.

Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the required consent and release during registration.

Group Eligibility

You may perform as a solo act or as part of an ensemble. Group acts are welcome, but each act must follow the official participation guidelines and include all required performer information during registration.

Youth Performers (Ages 6–17)

Solo acts and groups welcome. Perfect for students ready to perform and shine on stage.

Adult Contestants

Open to adults in a separate category. Bring your best act—music, dance, comedy, spoken word, and more.

Solo Acts & Groups

Perform as a soloist or with a team. Groups may include up to 20 participants.

We’ve Got Talent is a community talent competition benefiting the Gifford Academy for Performing Arts. Performers of all kinds—music, dance, comedy, spoken word, and more—are invited to register, submit an audition video, and compete for a chance to perform live. It’s family-friendly, professionally organized, and built to celebrate every performer while supporting arts education.

2026 Audition Timeline

For the 2026 season, audition materials are submitted online during the application period of May 31 through July 31. Selected contestants will move forward to the live semifinal scheduled for October 3, 2026.

Selected finalists will compete on November 14 for the grand prizes.

When are the live auditions and finals?

Live Auditions (Semifinals) are Saturday, October 3, 2026, and Live Finals are Saturday, November 14, 2026.

Both events run 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What types of acts are allowed?

Most performing arts acts are welcome as long as they are family-friendly and stage-ready.

Examples: singing, instruments, dance, comedy, spoken word, magic, and more

Performances must be G-rated

Does my performance need to be family-friendly?

Yes — performances must be G-rated and appropriate for all ages.

Avoid profanity, explicit themes, or unsafe content

Keep music edits clean as well

Are props allowed on stage?

Only small hand-carried props are allowed; scenery is not permitted.

Performers must carry props on and off stage themselves

No large setups or stage scenery

Can groups participate, and is there a group size limit?

Yes — groups can participate, with a maximum of 20 performers per act.

Make sure your full act fits within the 2-minute 30-second time limit

Where do I send my audition video and headshot?

Visit the Register & Audition Page online, submit application fee and you will be guided to submit your audition video + headshot.

Include performer name and category (Youth or Adult)
